My name is Gabrielle Turner, and theinksaid began as a creative project in 2018.
I wrote 100 flash fiction stories prompted by the abstract chromatographic images I create from alcohol and acrylic inks. Even though I’ve finished the project, I’m still writing them every week, and I share them here, on Instagram as @theinksaid and on Twitter @theinksaid.
In 2019 I’m focusing on creating beautiful large-scale inkscapes and inkblots exploring colour and texture. You can read more about my art and how I work here, and even buy them online.
You can also find me on Artfinder, Instagram, and my website.
My Kickstarter campaign to get a 2019 calendar printed was successfully funded! Thank you to all of you who supported me.
I’m always thrilled to hear about licensing opportunities, from book covers and office art to posters, stock images, installations, printed textiles and fancy serving platters. And if you have a wild new idea you think I could be a part of, I’d love to hear about it – collaborating with other artists and creatives is so inspiring. Get in touch!
